AMU students receive scholarship from Rural Electrification Corporation

Bab-E-Syed_AMUALIGARH, February 15- The Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) has awarded the scholarship of Rs. Twenty four thousand each to three Engineering students of the Aligarh Muslim University.

Ms. Somya Kant, Chief Manager (Finance) of the Rural Electrification Corporation presented the scholarship to Mr. Raquib Imam, B. Tech. (Mechanical), Mr. Dhruv Kumar, B. Tech. (Civil) and Mr. Shivam Garg, B. Tech. (Computer) in the chamber of the Vice Chancellor, Lt. General Zameer Uddin Shah.

On this occasion, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Mohibullah and DSW, Prof. Anis Ismail were also present.

REC is a public infrastructure company working under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. This company provides scholarship on merit basis under its corporate social responsibility and sustained development scheme.
