It aims to bring new investment opportunities to investors new to this asset class, so they can co-invest with others, commit smaller amounts and reduce their risk through a portfolio of projects.
Says Nandini Mansinghka, Founder of Idyabooster, “Idyabooster looks to do 7-10 high quality projects through the year. Eventually looking to bring great opportunities to investors across India and globally, so that they can be part of this exciting new asset class.”
The company has already co-produced a Bengali horror-fantasy-thriller ‘Ludo'(which is currently in post-production) with Starfire Movies, directed by Q and Nikon. They are in the process of greenlighting a couple of other projects, which they will be announcing soon.
In April, Idyabooster will also be visiting MIPTV, one of the largest TV content markets globally, with a palette of their own funded projects as well as content from other partners.
