BANGALORE- It’s no brainer that Web-Series are doing exceptionally well and that the digital audience are always craving for more content day by day. Content providers are always on the look out to deliver engaging stories. As of now, web-series are shot in local studios with minimum cost attached to it. NIMRAT is a web-series which is currently being shot in the beautiful location of Coorg, a first for the digital audience. The calmness and scenic beauty of Coorg has fantasised lot of Bollywood movies so far. After ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ and ‘Raavan’…it’s ‘NIMRAT’, a Web-Series that has been smitten by the location.
‘NIMRAT’ is a travel based web series with shoot in progress and has already managed to attract enough eyeballs. It is produced by film director T. G. Keerthi Kumar and Aditi Soni, founders of a Bangalore based film school and production house – Flash Frame Visuals Academy of Film & Television (FFVA).
NIMRAT is quite a novel concept in this successful era of webisodes. “Today travel is the only way through which we explore ourselves and the world. Nimrat is a similar voyage of two people”, said Keerthi Kumar
Students will write, shoot and edit the project, at par with technical standards of the industry.
“Now we are shooting Season 1. Season 2 is being planned in the exotic locations of Khatmandu and few parts of Himalayas, which portrays the life changing journey of Nimrat”, shared Producer and Creative Head Aditi Soni. Mumbai based actors Vinod Acharya and Pareena Padiyar play the lead roles.
“NIMRAT” will raise the standards of Indian web series to the next level, in terms of content and production value. The producers are already in talks with well known production houses as release partners. Many sponsors are being roped in for Season 1 and 2. The team is planning to release Season 1 by August 2016.
