Special drive for free Hepatitis-B vaccination

Dr. Bal Kishan, CMS DDU Hospital Aligarh inaugurating the Hepatitis B Vaccination CampALIGARH, January 25: The Department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib (Preventive and Social Medicine), Faculty of Unani Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University organized a Special Drive for Free Hepatitis-B vaccination for freshers today at OPD No. 8, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College Hospital.

The students in MD/MS (U), BUMS and Pre-Tib (Batch-2013) were among the beneficiaries of the Freshers’ Drive.

Dr Bal Kishan, Chief Medical Superintendent, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital, Aligarh inaugurated the camp. He emphasized that various health schemes of state government should be implemented in AKTC Hospital also.

In his introductory remarks, Chairman of the Department Dr. SM Safdar Ashraf highlighted the activities of the department. He said that it was the 4th camp against Hepatitis-B organized by the department.

Prof. Naeem Ahmad Khan, Dean, Faculty of Unani Medicine, Prof. A. Manan, Prof. Qamar Kazmi, Dr Tafseer Ali, DMS, AKTC Hospital, Dr Ammar Ibn Anwar, Dr. Abdul Aziz Khan, Dr Mohd. Usman, Camp Inchage, PG Scholars Shazia Shamim and Mohd. Naeem were also present on this occasion.

Mr. Khurram A. Choudhary, Mr. Nawab, Mr. Rajandar and interns Farheen, Ayesha Kaneez, Shazia and Farha extended their full cooperation in organizing the camp successfully.
