Orientation Programme at Staff College Concluded

Prof. HAS Jafri giving away the certificate to participant of Orientation Programme at Academic Staff College, AMUALIGARH, December 28: The Orientation Programme organized by UGC Academic Staff College, Aligarh Muslim University concluded successfully. Fifty one University/College teachers from Assam, Maharastra, Karnataka, UP, Uttrakhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan participated in the four-week training programme.

Professor HAS Jafri, former Pro-Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University was the Chief Guest. He urged the participants to transform themselves into role model for their students as this would go a long way in ensuring excellence in the academic institutions.

Professor Abdur Raheem Kidwai, Director, UGC Academic Staff College felicitated the participants and urged them to spread the message of quality education, peaceful coexistence and social justice. Ms Raijee Sultana Islam, Assam and Mr Biju Kumar Sonowal, Assam spoke on behalf of the participants and thanked the AMU administration for providing them with excellent boarding facilities. They thanked Dr S Reshma Jamal and Dr Faiza Abbasi, faculty members of the UGC Academic Staff College for organizing a highly beneficial training programme.
