ALIGARH January 16: The first ever ‘Shoe Fashion Studio’ in Northern India, was inaugurated by Brig. (Retd.) S. Ahmad Ali, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh and his wife Mrs. Rizwana Ali, at Leather and Footwear Technology Section, University Polytechnic, Aligarh Muslim University.

In addition to holding of an exhibition of creativity and skill in shoe fashion trends for fall and winter seasons, the studio will also facilitate highly advanced computerized shoe and fashion software, which facilitates the latest technology to the students as well as to the shoe industry. Moreover, the most modern and advanced Physical Testing Lab for Leather & Footwear was also inaugurated on this occasion.

Brig. Ali expressed happiness on creative display of the studio and appreciated the quality, which is at par with the international level. He hoped that university guests would find the studio worth visiting while in Aligarh.

Prof. Iffat Ara, Dr. Mohd. Sohrab, Dr. Sadiq Ansari, Mohd. Sayeduzzaman, Pankaj Kumar Tyagi, Sujit Kumar Basu, Asif Javed Siddiqui, Nazmuddin Khan and students and staff of LFT Section were present on this occasion.
