AMU alumnus delivers Lecture on ‘Acute Coronary Syndrome’

Bab-E-Syed_AMUALIGARH January 7: Dr Shamim A Khan, an alumnus of AMU and presently working in Stony Brook University Hospital of New York, USA, delivered a lecture on “Acute Coronary Syndrome” at the Department of Medicine, JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He discussed latest techniques and interventions in patients developing heart attack.

Prof M H Beg, the then Dean, Faculty of Medicine welcomed the guest speaker. Prof M U Rabbani, Chairman, Department of Medicine and Director, Centre of Cardiology, J. N. Medical College introduced the guest. Large number of teachers and resident doctors attended the lecture.

Dr. Khan along with Prof M U Rabbani, also met Lt Gen Zameer Uddin Shah, Vice Chancellor, AMU and apprised him of the continued cooperation of cardiologist group of Alumni in North America with the Centre of Cardiology, AMU.
