ALIGARH December 17: Dr. Mujib Ahmad Ansari, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University attended an International Conference (HYDRO-2013) on Hydraulics, Water Resources, Coastal and Environmental Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai. The conference was organized in collaboration with the Departments of Ocean Engineering and Civil Engineering, IIT Madras, Chennai, Indian Society for Hydraulics (ISH) and International Association of Hydro-Environment Engineering & Research (IAHER). Over 300 delegates from all over the world attended the conference
Dr. Ansari also presented a paper on “Performance Evaluation of Vortex Settling Chambers”- the performance of an efficient vortex settling chamber for sediment removal from canals.
